How does it Work?
Improving your product design, website, marketing, sales, training – boosting your profits and saving you money through the latest technology – is easy with LETS.
Thanks to £1million of funding from the EU’s Objective 1 regeneration fund for South Yorkshire, companies in the region benefit from substantial discounts amounting to up to 50 per cent of the true commercial cost of utilising innovative 3D computer visualisations and teleconferencing.
Gaining access to grant aid can be a paperwork hassle – but not with LETS. There’s no application process and, after a few simple questions, the LETS team will do all the form filling for you.
All you have to do to get the ball rolling is to get in touch.
The process starts with a free, no-obligation consultation to determine your needs, the scope of your project and the best way LETS can help you.
You don’t need to be an existing high-level technology user. If you don’t possess Computer Aided Design (CAD) data for your product, LETS can produce an accurate true-to-life interactive 3D computer model from a simple drawing or photograph. CAD data is helpful in that it cuts down the time taken to produce a computerised 3D image.
Once a basic 3D computer image is completed, the file is run through Eon Reality’s Eon Viewer software which adds appropriate interactivity, movement, depth and fine detail to create eye-popping 3D images.
You’ll find the LETS team will advise you on any creative elements and the best viewer platforms – either a 3D plasma TV screen, portable 3D projector, website or LETS’ South Yorkshire conference and presentation facility which is equipped with a 30 metre cinema-style 3D screen projection facility for the maximum kind of virtual experience as imagined on the holodeck of TV’s Star Trek.
The LETS 3D TV plasma screen and portable projector and screen are simple and easy to use. And if necessary, the LETS team will help you set them up. Eon Reality’s 3D software is provided free and can also be downloaded from the web.
LETS equipment can be leased, or even bought if you require long term use.
To qualify for a substantial discount against normal commercial rates:
- Your company must be an independent, small or medium-sized firm based in South Yorkshire.
- You must employ less than 250 staff and have an annual turnover of less than €50million (£33.9million) and an annual balance of less than €43million (£29.2million).
- You must be an independent company, eg not part of a group based outside South Yorkshire.
- You company must not have received in excess of €130,000 (£88,000) of EU grant support in the past.
The vast majority of firms in South Yorkshire will qualify under the above criteria.
The only information LETS will want from you when the project is finished is some idea of just how much you have benefited – usually a combination of how much extra profit you have made since the LETS intervention, the effect on turnover and any new jobs you’ve been able to create. Technology couldn’t be more simple. So LETS get started. Contact us now.
