LETS DKE Mobile Media UnitFirms on Doncaster’s Armthorpe business park gained a unique insight into the benefits of innovative new 3D computer graphics at the latest roadshow by Leading Edge Technology Solutions (LETS) – a not-for-profit project helping South Yorkshire businesses to take advantage of the latest developments in interactive 3D computer simulation technology.

“The range of business applications is truly amazing and we’re already considering how it can be applied to our website,” said Neale Johnson, Quality Manager at Doncaster vehicle training centre GTA which hosted the exhibition.

The LETS roadshow is continuing its tour of Doncaster business parks with free exhibitions at the Kirk Sandall Industrial Estate on August 8 and at Brooklands Road, Carcroft on Sept 5.

The grant aid is designed to encourage more small and medium sized companies to utilise cutting edge computer imaging technologies to boost sales, cut costs and reduce speed to market for new products.

“Our mobile exhibition unit is proving incredibly popular with South Yorkshire companies because it enables us to demonstrate virtual reality business applications right on their doorstep.  Firms are keen to see how they can benefit and we’ve had fantastic interest in everything from product prototyping to marketing, training and enhanced websites,” said LETS’ business development manager Helen Richardson.
